Global II Research Paper

What is liberation and how is it achieved?

Wednesday :  Senegal - a model for your paper

DO NOW: Open your "Imperialism and Liberation" research paper you started back in Unit 4 on Google Classroom. Re-read my comments on your paper and fill out a survey here. Today's class begins 5 days we will spend completing your research and adding to your paper.

Wednesday's class is lecture style. The lecture will tell the story of Senegal the way you are expected to tell the story of Ghana, Congo, China, or India. Your notes should serve as a guide of the questions you must explore in your paper.

Today's lecture, like your paper, is broken into three parts about Senegal:

1. Imperialism and resistance

2. Path to liberation

3. To what extent has the country achieved liberation in 2018?
